How often do I need to visit the dentist?

The American Dental Association recommends that everyone visit the dentist for a check-up at least once every six months. This ensures that a professional can keep track of your oral health and identify any dental issues before getting worse. However, if you have an ongoing dental problem, more annual visits might be necessary.

Which insurance do you accept?

The providers for which we are current in-network include:

  • Careington Benefit Solutions PPO

How do I know if I have to see the dentist for gum disease?

Gum disease (or periodontal disease) is a common yet potentially dangerous condition that affects millions of people throughout the country. It is the result of a bacterial infection in the gum tissue that surrounds your teeth. Usual signs include swelling, bleeding during brushing, frequent pain, and in the worst cases, loose teeth. If you experience any of these symptoms, it’s best to visit a dentist right away.

Do I really need braces?

If you have suffered from crooked or misaligned teeth, you might be considering a corrective orthodontic procedure. We think of braces as a cosmetic procedure, but smile corrections carry other benefits. Straightening your teeth reduces your chances of developing tooth decay, alleviates speech deficiencies, and might even help prevent sleep apnea.

What are my options if I have missing teeth?

Losing a tooth or several doesn’t have to be the end of your smile. There are multiple restorative procedures available designed to restore the natural appearance of your teeth. Depending on your situation, you might be eligible for dental implants, bridges, or dentures.

What can I do about stained teeth?

Teeth are stained or discolored due to various reasons that can range from certain foods to medication to just normal signs of aging. Although you can find many over-the-counter options, professional teeth whitening is your most effective solution to combating dental staining and discoloration.
